Being in the medical field for almost 10 years, Virginia Heart has been one of the best jobs I have had. I have learned so much since joining the company and I am blessed to be apart of such an amazing group. It is always a pleasure to be able work with the providers, help our patients, and seeing smiles on their faces knowing that they are getting the proper care they need.
I've worked in or with medical offices since 1993 and joined Virginia Heart in 2017. It does not matter what specialty it is, there is never a dull moment, and that is a very good thing. I am constantly challenged to grow and learn. I love being surrounded by smart and funny people who enjoy helping others. Working at Virginia Heart makes me feel like I am part of a family.
As a new employee at Virginia Heart, I feel that Virginia Heart has a great environment, approachable leaders, and is a very compassionate organization to work for. Everyone that I have worked with has been kind, respectful, and very helpful. I truly feel that Virginia Heart is my second home and most of all I am grateful to be part of the Virginia Heart Family.
"Upper management and co-workers worked with me when I was initially hired, allotting times for me to lactate as my child was only 4 months old when I began my VH journey. As I sought to complete my Masters’ in Nursing as an AG-PCNP, I received support from doctors as well as valuable cardiovascular care information. When I needed help finding clinical placement, Eve Mogodam was so gracious to assist me by placing me with Ki Kim and Lanna Smith for my last clinical rotation. I have been precepting with Lanna Smith these last few weeks at Arlington and I am in awe of the physicians’ respect for APRN’s."
