Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for the financial and clerical activies of the Research Department to include but not limited to creating, reconciling invoices and revenue transactions for each research study.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain copies of all contracts and admendments.
- Create and maintain a budget spreadsheet for every study.
- Prior to study start up meet with the assigned Research Coordinator to review the contract and create the budget per the study guidelines. Budget to be reviewed and approved by Chief Financial Officer.
- Monitor patient activity in each study and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments received from study sponsor.
- Reconcile the budget with the patient visits.
- Patient reimbursable expenses request and monitor all transactions.
- Regularly communicate with Research Coordinator and CFO about the status of the budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Must possess the following characteristics: self-motivation, resourceful, detail-oriented, sense of accountability, and must be a team player
- Must possess strong skills in the following areas: organizational, time management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong communication skills
